When the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE’s founder and director Lee Brian Schrager came into town, our crew excitingly prepped up our green soul food dishes for the fun occasion.
Lee invited The Yielding Seed to cater an all day conference in Coral Gables, where his team gathered to plan new ideas for SOBE WFF 2016.
Nicknamed “Spring break for chefs,” the star- studded event is always filled with renowned chefs, popular culinary personalities, wine & spirits producers, and of course foodies from all over the world!
Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida and Florida International University host the festival each year! TYS partners Joseph Orukotan and Helen Morales are Florida International University alumni, so our team was delighted about serving food and drinks for Lee and his staff.
Our breakfast and lunch menus included Breakfast Egg Muffins, Roasted Sausages, Sauteed Butternut Squash, Baked Coconut Chicken, Sweet Mash Potatoes, Basil Pesto Zucchini Noodles and Johnny Apple Seed for fresh pressed juices.
We were thrilled when Lee expressed how much he enjoyed our food!
